A 3-day workshop, from 19 to 21 September, organized in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, to discover the wildest and most uncontaminated nature of the central Apennines. In this period, ideal for the roaring of the deer, you will also have the opportunity to spot other magnificent animals of the park, such as the wolf and foxes. A photographic workshop concentrated in the places where there is the greatest possibility of spotting deer in their best season, the mating season. Specifically, you will be guided by professional photographer Alessandro Di Modica, and I will share with you my experience and expertise in the world of Wildlife.

WHO IS THIS EVENT ADDRESSED TO?
This workshop is aimed at all photography and nature enthusiasts. Dedicated both to those who are taking their first steps in this wonderful world and want to receive some useful advice in the field and in post production to improve their knowledge, and to more advanced photographers, who wish to spend two days in places full of photographic possibilities, leading to home great shots. No particular skills are required.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT
will make my knowledge in the photographic field available to offer an intense, useful experience with the utmost respect for nature. We will exploit the knowledge of the area to provide the highest level from a photographic point of view, studying every lighting situation and every shooting point. During my workshops the basics of Wildlife photography will be covered, we will talk about the territory to exploit every hour of light. You will be followed from the settings in the room up to the shooting phase. We will then have the opportunity to compare our shots and talk about post-production where I will reveal some secrets to optimize our photographs with particular attention to file customization, detail optimization, light and contrast management and color corrections. The aim of these events is to train you through my experience, leaving you with a wealth of knowledge sufficient to cultivate this passion anywhere and with excellent photographic results. The workshop will begin with an initial theoretical explanation, to prepare and introduce participants to the approach to nature photography, explaining compositional rules, photographic techniques, advice and everything needed to create quality photographs.
With the support of a professional photographer, you will have the opportunity to hone your photography skills, discovering the best techniques for immortalizing the majesty of deer in their natural habitat. Every click of the camera will be a dive into the wild world, an indelible memory of an intensely lived experience. During the workshop, you will not only learn to take extraordinary photos, but also to observe and understand animal behaviors, thus enriching your connection with nature.
With a little luck, we could also spot the apennine wolf, one of the most important predators in the area, and the foxes, all with targeted stakeouts. By participating in this nature photography workshop, you will discover with me how to behave in the field to obtain impactful and natural photographs.
These will be days dedicated to the sighting of red deer, where in this period, they echo through the valleys of the park, creating a surreal atmosphere with their violent bells. During the central hours of the day we will dedicate ourselves to post-production, thus improving our skills with specific software.
The photographic sessions will be carried out early in the morning and at sunset, alternating stakeouts on site and explorations along the most important places in the Park, so as to immerse ourselves in a unique experience, in close contact with nature. The sessions will keep us busy in the field from dawn to dusk, with moments of practical sessions on the various basic and advanced video shooting techniques to obtain creative and unique images of the roar.
RECOMMENDED PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT
For this type of workshop, we recommend focal lengths from 200mm effective to a maximum of 600mm. Other shorter focal lengths could also be interesting, so as to obtain different photographic ideas. For this event you can rent products such as cameras and lenses.
