DESCRIPTION:

Book your photo session in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains National Park and immerse yourself in the magnificent landscapes while waiting for the Apennine chamois. This experience offers you the rare opportunity to come into contact with nature and observe chamois up close during their mating season. The adventure involves a combination of stakeouts and short walks in the areas with the greatest concentration of these fantastic animals. You will be accompanied by a professional photographer, who will follow you for the entire duration of the session. No huts or foraging of any kind will be used, thus guaranteeing the most natural and authentic experience possible.

HOW ARE THE SESSIONS ORGANIZED?

The sessions take place within the Sibillini Mountains National Park, an area between Marche and Umbria, on mostly mountainous terrain, in open spaces depending on the activity of the chamois. Sessions are structured around a combination of sunset or sunrise, depending on various commitments, and can be customized to the participant's needs and schedule. Depending on your preferences, additional sessions can be added to the package, extending your stay on site. Before the session, I will hold a briefing on site where I will give you some information about the area and how to access the various locations, the behaviors to follow to guarantee the success and safety of the experience. It will be essential to follow the advice and indications given by me in the field.

WHEN WILL THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

The sessions take place every day depending on availability, in a period from 20 October to 30 November, with the possibility for those who wish to participate also in the month of December.

RECOMMENDED PACKAGES:

As reported above, the single session costs €70, and includes participation at dawn or dusk, depending on the various needs. For those who wish, it is also possible to add an additional session at the price of €110, to be used whenever you want or performed on the same day, from dawn to dusk. A maximum of 4 photographers can participate in each session, so as to obtain the most efficient result possible.

RECOMMENDED PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT

This itinerary offers a magnificent experience without any barrier to the animals, for this reason it is recommended to have a lens of 300 mm and above available, given that we will have the possibility of getting very close to the chamois, at a distance of 25-30 metres. In some situations it could be very useful to use a tripod so that you can also take video shots. The advice is to always carry it with you and then follow the instructions given by the photographer depending on the location chosen.
