SOUTH AFRICA PHOTO TOUR

A PRIVATE WINDOW ONTO THE WILD KRUGER

This tented camp offers a "glamping" experience, a modern take on camping that blends the beauty of a nature getaway with the comforts of luxury accommodation. Located in the Greater Kruger area (the private section of Kruger National Park), the camp shares an open border with the park itself; with no fences separating the two, the chances of encountering large herds of wildlife are exceptionally high. The camp is unfenced and situated right in the heart of the savanna, ensuring a truly immersive experience in nature. The tents are elevated, secure, and fully equipped with every comfort.

In front of the main building lies an infinity pool, hence the name "Infinity Camp", where elephants from the area come to drink on most days of the year. There is also a natural waterhole and a hide for observing the animals that come to drink.

THE LODGE

The common area (Main Camp) features a spacious lounge with a swimming pool, sun loungers, sofas, and a bar where you can relax during the day or enjoy pre-dinner drinks. The infinity pool offers a front-row seat for wildlife sightings: small monkeys and elephants are sure to keep you entertained during your leisure time.

THE TENTS

The tents are raised off the ground and feature en-suite bathrooms. They are equipped with a fan for the summer, electric blankets for the winter, and a small wardrobe for storing clothes.

The camp’s "Out of Africa" style gives it great charm and atmosphere, while remaining quite rustic and wild.

The swimming pool, which is also accessible to passing elephants, is unheated.

WILDLIFE

The reserve is a paradise of open grassy plains and rolling hills, providing the perfect backdrop for photographing any animal species, from the Big Five to the most colorful and vibrant birdlife. The Greater Kruger is an ideal location for spotting all of the Big Five:

lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and rhinos (though the latter are rare in this area). The area where the tented camp is situated is renowned as a transit zone for numerous lion prides and a battleground for territorial disputes.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?

The Photography Workshop is aimed at all lovers of Wildlife photography and uncontaminated nature! We will alternate shooting sessions at dawn and dusk, taking advantage of the best light conditions to obtain original and high-impact photos.

During the workshop we will undertake a stimulating and complete training course, starting from the basics up to the most advanced techniques, from shooting theory to post-production.

We will see how to apply the techniques in the field, we will evaluate the shots obtained together and finally we will see various workflows in post-production based on the type of shot obtained.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

First of all, you will live an adventure that will remain in your heart, in direct contact with nature, between fun and photography!

My goal is not only to pass on my technical knowledge to you, but to make you live a rewarding and stimulating experience through a training course that is able to make you see photography with new eyes and different approaches.

During this workshop we will cover many topics and techniques that will help you improve your skills, regardless of the equipment you have and your level of preparation.
