DESCRIPTION
A 4-day workshop, from February 4th to 7th, organized in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, to discover the wildest and most uncontaminated nature of the Alps. A long weekend in the Gran Paradiso National Park, in the presence of some of the highest peaks in Italy, where all the main representatives of the wonderful Alpine fauna and avifauna live freely.
In this period, ideal for the mating season of ibex, you will also have the opportunity to spot other magnificent animals of the park, such as chamois and foxes. A photography workshop focused on the places where there is a greater possibility of spotting ibex in their best season. Specifically, you will be guided by the professional photographer Alessandro Di Modica, and I will share with you my experience and expertise in the world of Wildlife.

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?
This workshop is aimed at all photography and nature enthusiasts. Dedicated both to those who are taking their first steps in this wonderful world and want to receive some useful advice in the field and in post-production to improve their knowledge, and to more advanced photographers, who want to spend four days in places full of photographic possibilities, bringing home excellent shots. Good physical preparation and a predisposition for the mountains are required, as we will be tackling routes with altitude differences.
EVENT DESCRIPTION
This photography workshop takes place in the wonderful setting of the Gran Paradiso National Park. A weekend in close contact with nature, where we can admire and photograph a large quantity of wild animals that populate this valley, walking along numerous paths and being fascinated by the extraordinary scenic beauty of this all-Italian park, the best in which to spot alpine fauna and birdlife. My knowledge in the photographic field is available to offer an intense, useful experience with the utmost respect for nature. We will use our knowledge of the area to provide the highest level of photography, studying every light situation and every shooting point.
It will be incredible to be able to approach, in their natural environment, the numerous ibex and chamois that populate the park, and take environmental shots or fantastic portraits. There are numerous animal species in the park, and during our excursions, we will have a good chance of seeing the bearded vulture gliding between the valleys while it is hunting for food, the red fox that wanders undisturbed through the park.
More rare to spot, but not impossible, are the wolves, the golden eagle and the small stoat that, in winter, changes the color of its coat to a pure white to camouflage itself in the snowy environment. During my workshops, the basics of Wildlife photography will be covered, we will talk about the territory to take advantage of every hour of light. You will be followed from the settings in the camera up to the shooting phase. We will then have the opportunity to compare our shots and talk about post-production where I will reveal some secrets to optimize our photographs with particular attention to file customization, optimization of detail, management of light and contrasts and color corrections. The purpose of these events is to train you through my experience, leaving you with a wealth of knowledge sufficient to cultivate this passion anywhere and with excellent photographic results. The workshop will begin with an initial theoretical explanation, to prepare and introduce participants to the approach to nature photography, explaining compositional rules, photographic techniques, advice and everything needed to create quality photographs.
With the support of a professional photographer, you will have the opportunity to hone your photography skills, discovering the best techniques to immortalize the majesty of deer in their natural habitat. Every click of the camera will be a dive into the wild world, an indelible memory of an intensely lived experience. During the workshop, you will not only learn to take extraordinary photos, but also to observe and understand the behavior of animals, thus enriching your connection with nature.

By participating in this nature photography workshop, you will discover with me how to behave in the field to obtain impactful and natural photographs.
These will be days dedicated to the sighting of ibex, where in this period, among the valleys of the park, it is also possible to see them in combat. During the central hours of the day we will dedicate ourselves to post-production, thus improving our skills with specific software.
The photo sessions will be held early in the morning and at sunset, alternating on-site stakeouts and explorations along the most important paths of the Park, so as to immerse ourselves in a unique experience, in close contact with nature. The sessions will keep us busy in the field from morning to sunset.
